- We generally don't think the concept of telling someone about an opportunities can be copyrighted; but if you feel that we have infringed copyright please get in touch.
- We want to credit contributions to the site, but we have no obligation to do this.
- You may only use this website for the intended use of accessing and updating a database of opportunities. Any misuse or abuse of this service will result in your access being denied and your ISP/the police being contacted.

Privacy Policy
- We want to make sure your personal data is safe; but we can't guarantee it.
- The only data we store on you is the data that you supply. If you have an account with us we also keep a note of the last time you log in to the site.
- We only collect information that is strictly necessary.
- We encrypt your password so we have no access as to what it is.
- It's your responsibility to keep your password safe.
- We won't use your email address for any other reason than maintaining the site.
- We won't ever pass your details onto anyone else or give them access to our database.
- We use Google Analytics to help track site usage.
Terms of use for placing opportunities
- Opportunities are received and added in good faith. You are expected to use the service to promote opportunities than genuinely have a positive outcome for young people who engage with the activity.
- Opportunities generally should be non-commercial; we won't carry commercial "prize-draws" etc.
- Opportunities must generally be aimed specifically at young people, or at least heavily targeted towards them. By young people we mean anyone under the age of 26.
- Generally you must have a webpage on your own organisation's website that carries details of the opportunity and how to apply, that we can link to.
- In some cases we'll link to an email address. We expect this to be on a recognised organisation domain (eg @myorganisation.org), that should be the same as the website of the organisation you work for. Only in very extreme circumstances would we link to a webmail or generic domain (eg hotmail.com) Please note that this address will be exposed on the website, so could be the target of spammers.
- Your organisation must have appropriate procedures in place for dealing with young people, including appropriate ISA registration where required.
- We can not be held responsible for spam or other malicious use of our site to contact you. Obviously, where we can, we'll work with you to reduce this and take any action if necessary.
Terms of use for using feeds
- The general terms and conditions of this use of this website make up these additional terms and conditions. In particular, the feeds are provided as is and there is no obligation on the part of the website to provide the feeds.
- You must credit, clearly and next to the feed, We Need Young People, and provide a prominent link to www.wnyp.org
- The feeds must be used only for promoting opportunities, and must be used in a way that is in keeping with the ethos of this service
- You can not charge for access to these feeds, or charge third-parties for supplying them. You may carry advertising around the feeds if you do on the rest of your website, but you must not have a direct sponsor of the feeds or in any way associate advertising with the feeds
- The feeds are designed for low-traffic websites. If your website is likely to be accessing the feeds more 100 times per day, then we would ask that you create a cached version of the feed on your server. Information is unlikely to change more than once or twice a day, so you do not need to regular poll the database.
- Other than for caching the data, you must not make your own copy of the data without permission, except where this would be counted as fair use (eg printing off a list of opportunities for a young person to keep)
- When linking to opportunities, we would prefer you link to the URL that looks something like: www.wynp.org/go/xxxxx. This will immediately take the person through to the correct webpage, but allows us to count the click-thru. In the interests of fairness, we make the actual URL available in the XML feed should you want to use that.
- Although you don't have to, it's a good idea to let me know if you are using feed so that I can keep you informed of any developments / upgrades / significant downtime etc.
