Where can you take part in this opportunity?

WORLDbytes is the online alternative news channel created by volunteers at WORLDwrite. It aims to get behind the headlines and promote a people-first perspective on a wide-range of issues: so don’t shout at the telly, change the message on it!

WORLDbytes is offering a unique opportunity for new volunteers to join the crew and take part in a three day intensive on-the-job film training weekend while shooting for news programmes.

The training is free for young people aged 16–25 who would like to get involved in the charity’s work and join more shoots, presentations and discussions in the future.

The training is on Saturday 13th to Monday 15th February 2010. To get involved and be part of the crew you should be available for all days of the course. Group interviews will be held on Tuesday 2nd or Thursday 4th February at 7.30pm at the WORLDwrite Centre in Hackney.

Places are limited so book now to avoid disappointment by clicking on the take part button below.
